Strength

What Is It

This workout is resistance training based. Unlike most other facilities, we operate using program design. This means you’re not just showing up and doing what every one else is doing. You’ll have your own program to follow, so although you’re in a ‘class’, it is very much an independent training session. This means we can tailor or tweak the program towards your needs and ensure better results for all clients.

All our programs are full body workouts, ensuring you hit all muscle groups 2-3 times a week. This higher frequency training ensures greater overall muscular development and allows for lower volumes of work per session, so recovery is not massively impacted.

Our facility has been designed to accommodate a max of 8 people in our strength sessions, this means you’ll have your own rack and equipment for your workout. No waiting or sharing equipment.

How Does It Work

Your first couple of sessions are very similar to 1:1 training, as we’ll work closely with you going through your program in detail and ensuring your technique in all exercises is perfect. We can also use this time to tweak the program around any injuries you may have or switch up some exercises to focus on areas that may require a little bit more work in the early stages of your training.

Every 8 weeks we change your training program to ensure continued progress and avoid any boredom and again, we’ll go through each program with you in detail.

You will keep track of all your sessions, recording all the weights and reps you’ve done. This way you can continually make progress instead of guessing each week.

Who Is It For

Strength is suited to all levels, but if your current fitness levels are very low, it may be worthwhile doing a few weeks of Body Survival to get your conditioning levels up as this will allow for better recovery and a higher level of muscular endurance, two very important components of our Strength sessions.

Our main emphasis is on improving body composition. Along with this, we utilize a combination of high and low rep work to ensure you are getting stronger and building endurance in every session also.

A minimum of 2 strength sessions must be completed each week
